I got into technology as a kid, long before it was a subject anyone was going to grade me on.

I like theory and math more than most people do, especially once it's not for a grade. I like building more than that. I like teaching most of all. There's nothing like watching a hard idea stop being hard for someone. I've been doing it for two years now, helping 100+ students debug their way through Java and Python.

Real-time status sharing · TypeScript, React Native, Expo, Supabase

My friends and I kept losing touch over the summer because nobody wanted to be the one to ask if someone was free. Kon shares your availability automatically through presets and a short note, so hanging out stops taking a negotiation.

Persistent auth sessions and auth-state monitoring on Supabase, plus a relational friend-request system with pending and accepted states and constraints that block duplicate or self-initiated connections.

Winnipeg has a serious homelessness problem, and the winters here make it worse. Frostbyte handles emergency triage and shelter connectivity. Built with a team of five, and awarded Most Impactful Project at UWinnipeg Hacks.

An SOS feature on Expo's SMS API lets someone broadcast a distress signal and their location to preset emergency contacts.
